Tracks by Love Art Studios

I love this shot, it almost looks like an illustration – very bold and graphic. Here's Kristen from Love Art Studios to explain the photograph, "Taken on a low bridge overlooking one of the frozen ponds next to the Charles River in Boston. It was one of those warm winter days, where all the new, fresh snow was turning to grainy slush rapidly in the sunshine, and out from under the bridge waddled these four ducks. Their tracks started melting immediately and a sound must have startled them from over on the river because they all turned toward it at the same time. :)" Image Size: 8" x 11 1/2". Paper Size: 10" x 14". This photo was taken with a Nikon FE 35ml camera using Kodak Professional 400 Black and White negative film. This is taken on good old film, not a digital image. Printed by hand on Archival Ilford Multi-grade photographic paper with Pearl Surface. Signed, dated and titled on the back. Beautiful!

Hi Kristin, thank you so much - you are more than welcome – your photo is beautiful. I remember those art college days too, that long wait to see if you'd actually captured anything of worth on the negatives. Usually mine didn't have anything of any worth! :D
